Christmas to me means....

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Titus 3:4-7

Why White Christmas?

White Christmas reminds me of a Christmas card I had painted during my school days using water colors. I still remember my arts teacher being well pleased with my painting! It was difficult to get the different shades of white onto a white sheet, but the result was worth it. The picture below was the closest I could dig from the net.

I guess it's time to fetch the brush and the palette and throw some colors around!

Joy to the world

The last few weeks were real crazy!!! And last weekend added to the craziness......But all in the end was good. I managed to get the second half of the day off from work for tomorrow. We are having a short Christmas Eve service followed by barbecue- specialty Burmese cuisine!!! I am waiting to sink my teeth into that well marinated meat....ahhh!!!

Christmas day is with family. Have invited a friend who desires to have crab curry!!! She loves seafood btw. Watch a movie, sleep (something that has been missing from my schedule). Before I leave, here's wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas filled with God's peace and assurance of being His child. God Bless!!

P.S: This is my 100th post......Wow!!!! It has been a long journey and I enjoyed every step of the way......Wow! I still can't believe I made it to 100!!!!! Yippee!!!!

Come November!

The month of November has set in and all I can think of is,"Oh no! there are no holidays this month." Yeah, after all the holidays in October, suddenly the thought of working 5 days a week for a month seems like a long stretch! Of course we have December to look forward to and all the preparations that will begin for Christmas. Ahh...I'm already setting off to Winter Wonderland :)

So I'm girding myself for this rigorous month that lies ahead of me and steer my way through....C'mon girl you can do it!!
